Punjab Police has levied serious accusations against Santokh Singh Sukh, father of actress Shehnaaz Gill, alleging the misuse of the security cover provided to him after receiving threatening calls and videos. Officials stated that Sukh, despite being instructed not to misuse the security cover meant for his safety, has been engaging in inappropriate activities, particularly through an organization he runs.

Deputy Superintendent of Police, Surinderpal Singh, revealed that six cases have been filed against Sukh due to his actions, which are currently under investigation. However, Santokh Singh Sukh refuted these claims, dismissing them as baseless allegations. He asserted that the accusations were retaliation for his recent criticism of the police's inaction towards individuals who had threatened him.
